Crystal wasn’t as confused as Silver, she was too busy cursing at herself for forgetting that the earthquake was the sign of the caves showing themselves. However when Silver dragged them out and into the water, Crystal took out another Poke ball and called out Xatee.
“Surfing will take too long. Hold on, I’ll teleport us to where the caves should be.” Crystal said as she looked at Xatee, the two nodding. Xatee then released a cry as they whited out and suddenly appeared on route 120, right between Lilycove and Fortree. Crystal recognized the route and looked around, trying to remember what her research had informed her.
Then she spotted it, a cave that was not there before. She pointed towards it, looking at Silver. “Registeel lays there. You’ll have to do some ridiculous things before you can face him, but I’m sure you can do it.” She explained rather quickly as she handed him a few different Poke Balls, before grabbing unto Xatee herself.
“You have some Heavy Balls and timer balls there. They should be more useful than a regular Poke Ball depending if you use them correctly. But I’m sure you will. I’ll go after Regirock myself, and we’ll meet up on Dewford island for Regice. Dewford is east of Slateport by water, or south of route 105. I believe the island Regice is on is on 105. But Dewford, alright? Good luck!” She looked at Xatee and the two nodded before they teleported out.
“This door wasn’t here before, huh…? Tch.”
Silver slipped the pokeballs after heading into the tomb. The cave was similar to the Sealed Chamber, appearing to be made of the same rock. He whipped out the PokeGear, loading up the notes on Braille yet again, assuming that there would be yet another message to decipher.
“So that place was connected to the Regis… Wait, so that freakout over the earthquake was for nothing? Arceus…”
He mumbled to himself for a good while before recalling what Crys said. Registeel, eh? His knowledge was limited when it came to the legendary, he had only heard about it once from Wallace, but now he was about to go and face it. He placed his bag down on the floor so he could check to make sure he was prepared to face a legend on his own. Max potions, full restores, and revives, check. Various types of pokeballs, check. As far as he was concerned, he was ready.
He trudged to the back of the cave, once again reminded of his battered condition through the pain when he walked. He lifted the gear, glancing up at the message and back down at the gear repeatedly.
“With new… time, hope, and love… Aim to the sky in the middle.”
Aim to the sky? Well, that could only mean one thing. Silver walked to the middle of the room, took out a pokeball and sent out Crobat. It was a bit crazy to think that fly would work inside of a cave, but it was the only thing he could hypothesize.
“Alright. Use fly, then.”
Crobat did as he was told, and a sound came from behind the trainer shortly after. A doorway had opened up and in the chamber, the golem was waiting. Silver called back Crobat and readied Rhyperior. The battle was going to be long and hard, but he stepped forward into the chamber and began the battle.
