Crystal looked over the cave and the code on the stones. She felt excitement well up inside her as she took out her Poke Gear. Before they left Sootopolis, she had gotten a new battery, and switched out her team to fit the appropriate measures for their mission. It was uncomfortable, have two unknown and newly caught Pokemon on her team instead of her trusted members, but she had to do what she had to.
She looked over the braille, lightly feeling it with her fingers. She could read it—she struggled a bit, and had to turn back to her notes on her Poke Gear a few times, but she was able to translate.
“In this cave… We have lived. We… owe all to the Pokemon. But, we sealed… the Pokemon away. We feared it. Those with courage… Those with hope… Open a door… An eternal Poke awaits.” She read over, carefully, slowly, and nodded when she finished. He walked through the new pathway, deciding to head straight to the back wall again. One the two were both standing in front of it, he used the information stored on the PokeGear to try and read the contents on the wall.
“First comes… Relicanth. Last comes… Wailord? What kind of jargon is thi—”
Before Silver could finish his sentence, the floor began shaking violently. He whipped around to view the room, an earthquake at a time like this?! The shaking slowed to a stop, leaving Silver rather bewildered.
“…What… What the hell was that? Quick, we have to get out of here.”
That went without saying, but Silver couldn’t think straight. They knew Kyogre was safe, but an earthquake at a time like this didn’t exactly provide any reassuring thoughts as to Groudon’s condition. He ran back to the first room, dragging Crys along, before diving back into the water and out at route 134, just a bit before Slateport.
A desert. She had to get the desert. She didn’t like it, especially since she didn’t have the proper—ahem—shoes for...
“This door wasn’t here before, huh…? Tch.” Silver slipped...pokeballs after heading...
