“Well excuse you, but I can easily manage my time, thank you—” Crystal watched him slither past her, cutting off her sentence by shock. She blinked a few times before rolling her eyes and closing the door behind her.

She went ahead of Silver now, however, as to somewhat lead him through her—although tiny—apartment. She coughed awkwardly when she noticed the mess of papers on her living room coffee table, groaning audibly as she quickly cleaned up.

“Ignore the mess! You should call in advance when you want to visit you know!”

“Well, I did. You even responded to that message. Maybe you were just a bit too slow, eh?”

He stood in place in the middle of her apartment, glancing to and fro. Her apartment certainly was like her: practical, clinical, but cozy. He stretched out his arms above his head before turning to her, hunched over the table.

“Always needing to have things picture perfect for the cameras, eh? Well it’s just me, so you don’t really have to worry about that right now. I’m here to check up on you, not your cleaning habits. On that note, how are you? Seems you’ve settled in here… nicely.”
